SK6813 LED strip is a type of digital, addressable digital LED strip that features individually controllable LEDs. These strips are based on the SK6813 integrated circuit (IC),
SK6813 has two types one is DC5v namely SK6813E, the other is DC12v namely SK6813H. SK6813E similar as WS2813 which has dual signal and DC5v input. SK6813H similar as WS2815 which is DC12v input with backup signal function .
SK6813 Features:
● Top SMD internal integrated high quality external control line serial cascade constant current IC;
● control circuit and the RGB chip in SMD 5050 components, to form a complete control of pixel, color mixing uniformity and consistency;
●built-in data shaping circuit, a pixel signal is received after wave shaping and output waveform distortion will not guarantee a line;
●The built-in power on reset and reset circuit, the power does not work;
●gray level adjusting circuit (256 level gray scale adjustable);
● red drive special treatment, color balance;
● dual data transmission;
● With plastic forward strengthening technology, the transmission distance between two pixels over 10M;
●Using a typical data transmission frequency of 800 Kbps, when the refresh rate of 30 frames per second.

1. What is the difference between SK6813 and other addressable LED strips, such as WS2812B?
SK6813 has two types one is DC5v namely SK6813E, the other is DC12v namely SK6813H. SK6813E similar as WS2813 which has dual signal and DC5v input. SK6813H similar as WS2815 which is DC12v input with backup signal function. WS2812B is only DC5v without backup signal.
2. Can I use an SK6813 RGB LED strip with Arduino or Raspberry Pi?

SK6813 LED strips can be powered using a compatible power supply with the appropriate voltage (5V or 12V). The power supply should have sufficient capacity to handle the total power consumption of the strip.
